Started this day with making pancakes to bring with me for dinner tonight. Got sorted and said good bye to Agneta. Thanks for everything, I had a great stay!
Conditions today were optimal so after rounding the head, leaving Täfteåfjärden, I had tailwind the entire day, high life! That and a long day (9 and a half hours) in the kayak made today's new distance record for this trip possible.
Spent pretty much all day paddling but took a break when reaching Ratan and realizing there was a restaurant there 😀, pancakes saved for tomorrow's breakfast instead, yum!
Passed some great spots during the afternoon but when trying to find a decent place to stay the night there was nothing and I ended up on one of the thousands and thousands of stone beaches there are up here along the coast, just next to a house... It's ok to pitch a tent on these beaches but not more, with today's amazing bed rolls you get away with pretty much any surface and still get a decent sleep. Worst bit was the there was no internet coverage at this spot 😫, just went to sleep after doing the necessary chores and getting photos of a nice sunset...
